Pan Africa TV Unplug is a Nigerian broadcasting, media production, advertising, and digital media company committed to creating, producing, promoting, and distributing quality content that tells African stories and connects African people, brands, communities, and personalities to audiences around the world.

Founded on 13 November 2014 in Lagos, Nigeria, Pan Africa TV Unplug has evolved with the rapidly changing media and technology landscape. From traditional media production to today’s digital platforms, we continue to embrace innovation, emerging technologies, and new ways of reaching audiences.

Our digital presence extends across platforms including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp, where we create and share diverse visual content ranging from event coverage, interviews, entertainment, news, promotional campaigns, church and religious programmes, Nollywood movie productions, music and entertainment content, and other African-focused media productions.

Godwin Sunday Obot, popularly known by his stage and professional name Godwin S.O, is a Nigerian multimedia creative professional, entrepreneur, and Christian content producer. He is recognized for his work in video production, media presentation, music performance, and digital content creation, as well as for his contributions to Christian media and African-focused digital platforms.

Early Life and Background

Godwin Sunday Obot was born on July 5, 1981, at Island Maternity Hospital in Lagos, Nigeria. Though born in Lagos, he spent part of his early life growing up in Jos, located in Plateau State. His upbringing in Jos played an important role in shaping his educational and creative development.

Godwin hails originally from Akwa Ibom State, in the southern region of Nigeria.

Education

Godwin Sunday Obot began his formal education in Jos.

Primary Education

Army Children School Rukuba Military Cantonment (Plateau State, Jos)

He completed his primary education there and earned his First School Leaving Certificate.

Secondary Education

Command Day Secondary School

Later transferred to Government Secondary School Bassa

At Government Secondary School Bassa (GSS Bassa), he completed his secondary education and obtained his Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) through both West African Examinations Council and National Examinations Council.

Tertiary Education Godwin further pursued higher education and professional training in Nigeria:

Lagos State Polytechnic

Studied Business Administration and Management Studies (2009).

The institution is now known as Lagos State University of Science and Technology.

Nigerian Institute of Journalism

Received training in journalism and media communication.

West Africa Theological Seminary

Further theological studies (2025).
